The first edition of Brescia for Charity was presented in Rome on 10 May 2024, at the Chamber of Deputies. The charitable initiative was promoted by the Rotary Club Sud Ovest Maclodio, in the 20th year of its foundation, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Brescia and the organizational partnership of Gruppo WISE.
\nThe honorable Fabrizio Benzoni, the President of the Rotarian Club Marco Gambarini and the President of the organizing committee Andrea Venturelli participated at the conference. Brescia for Charity was launched on May 1st with the closing set for June 6th 2024, concurrently with a great final show hosted in Piazza Loggia in Brescia, and representing a unique example of synergy between companies, entrepreneurs and institutions.<\/p>\n
It is, in fact, an operation guided by an exceptional communion of intent aimed at supporting the territory and the third sector entities that operate there with extraordinary commitment and closeness to the social conditions of poverty, hardship or difficulty. Brescia for Charity, in fact, aims – through a rich and varied calendar of events distributed over the six weeks of the initiative – to catalyze the solidarity of the citizens, in order to collect donations reaching a total of 250 thousand euros which will be donated to ten charitable associations in the territory. The organizations that will benefit are: 1000 Passi per Brescia, AIL Brescia, Associazione Obiettivo Sorriso, Associazione Brescia Respiro (BRESP), Carolina Zani Melanoma Foundation, Croce Bianca of Brescia, ANT Foundation of Brescia, Nadia Toffa Foundation, La Zebra Onlus and Via Etica.<\/p>\n
The presentation hosted in Parliament, the heart of the Republic, identifies the second, strategic objective of the initiative: the institutional sharing of a real model of collaboration in the territory, a project brought together so that it can be a replicable matrix in Italy. Therefore, in addition to the value of the Gruppo WISE\u2019s commitment to setting up the initiative, taking care of every organizational and communication aspect on behalf of the client entities, it reflects the very strategy of the agency which, as a benefit company, interprets its mission in a sense that also embraces the well-being of the entire community.<\/p>\n
The project involves the direct involvement of citizens through the organization of numerous events which also see commercial activities as protagonists of the solidarity challenge. Finally, Brescia for Charity will donate an impressive final show to the city of Brescia, during which the total amount of donations will also be announced. On the large stage set up in Piazza della Loggia, the TikToker from Brescia Mattia Stanga, already presenter of the last edition of the Prima Festival of Sanremo, will host the event which will see alternating guests and artists who, in turn, have embraced the project, actively contributing to it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
