The 75th Centomiglia Internazionale del Garda came to a close with great success. This historic regatta, promoted by Circolo Vela Gargnano, has brought life to Lake Garda’s waters for over seventy years, attracting crews and sailors from all over the world. Once again, it proved to be one of the most iconic and long-standing events in international sailing.
For this special edition, Gruppo WISE supported the organization with a strategic and integrated communication project designed to visually and narratively express the identity of the event. This included dedicated visuals, coordinated communication management, and the creation of an editorial magazine showcasing the main players, core values, and territorial impact of the regatta.
An international event embracing sport, community, and the territory
Centomiglia 2025 was much more than a sailing competition. It was a widespread experience that combined races on the water with activities on land, transforming the regatta into a true territorial event. Three intense days designed to engage audiences of all ages and promote participation, inclusion, and shared values.
The program included:
- Cento Junior – a race dedicated to young sailors, bringing new generations closer to sailing.
- Homerus – the regatta for visually impaired sailors, a symbol of accessibility and sport for all.
On Friday, a live talk hosted by Maddalena Damini and broadcast on Radio Bresciasette explored the technical and cultural aspects of the event, with contributions from leading voices:
- Francesco Ettorre, President of FIV
- Franco Cappuccini, President of Circolo Vela Gargnano
- Ottavio Corali, North East Area Manager at Fineco, Main Sponsor of this edition
- Gigi Servidati, Chairman of Cantiere del Pardo S.p.A.
- Enrico Zampedri, Chairman of the Carolina Zani Melanoma Foundation
A special moment was also dedicated to prevention, with activities promoted by the Carolina Zani Melanoma Foundation to raise awareness among children and families about melanoma, sun protection, and healthy habits.
A rich program aimed at enhancing the territory, creating connections across generations, and strengthening the link between sport, culture, and social commitment.
Strategy and communication serving impact
Through its creative and strategic contribution, Gruppo WISE supported the regatta in strengthening its image and amplifying its value both locally and internationally. An example of how communication, vision, and territory can come together to generate value—reinforcing the identity of a historic event and projecting it towards new horizons.
