Gruppo WISE partnered with the Fondazione Iniziative Zooprofilattiche e Zootecniche to develop a cultural and identity-driven project that looks to the future by valuing memory, science, and education: “Il futuro nella storia”, a docufilm that explores the evolution of agriculture in the Brescia region and its deep connection with educational and zootechnical dynamics rooted in the local territory.
This work was conceived with the aim of educating, sharing knowledge, and fostering collective awareness, through a narrative framework that blends intellectual rigor with visionary storytelling. It features the voices of distinguished figures from the scientific, academic, and institutional worlds: Giorgio Maione, Regional Minister for Environment and Climate of Lombardy; Costantino Vitali, President of Fondazione Iniziative Zooprofilattiche e Zootecniche; Francesco Bettoni, former President of the Brescia Farmers’ Union and of the Chamber of Commerce; Gabriele Archetti, Full Professor of Medieval History at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart; Luigi Mariani, Associate Professor of Agronomy at the University of Brescia; and Francesca Stroppa, Researcher in Contemporary Art History at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
The project was brought to the screen by 5e6, the production company responsible for the direction, scriptwriting, and full audiovisual execution. A work of outstanding creative and technical quality, it gave form and substance to a narrative that is deep, authentic, and firmly rooted—transforming the initial concept into a culturally impactful cinematic product.
The official premiere, held on September 10 at the Museo Diocesano di Brescia, marked a symbolic moment of return and shared vision, with the historic heritage of Santa Giulia providing a powerful backdrop for a story that looks forward while grounded in its origins.
