Brescia for Charity: a model of territorial solidarity with high social impact

On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the Rotary Club Sud Ovest Maclodio, with the strategic support of Gruppo WISE, launched Brescia for Charity: an initiative created to raise funds in support of ten charitable associations in the Brescia area.

The calendar, structured across six weeks of events between May 1 and June 6, 2024, culminated in an open-air show in Piazza Loggia, one of the city’s most iconic locations.
The goal — to raise €250,000 in donations — was successfully achieved thanks to the joint involvement of citizens, institutions, and local businesses.

At the same time, numerous local shops and commercial activities joined the initiative by donating part of their proceeds, generating a virtuous model of community participation and territorial welfare.

A Collective and Replicable Project
Brescia for Charity represents an innovative solidarity format, based on collaboration among different stakeholders — citizens, institutions, associations, and companies — united by a shared purpose: to give back value to the territory.

This cross-sector approach transformed solidarity into a collective and shared experience, making the initiative a replicable model on a national scale.

To promote its dissemination, two institutional presentations were organized:

  • an official launch in Brescia, the city hosting the project;
  • and a second event at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, aimed at expanding its visibility and encouraging its nationwide adoption.

 

The Final Event
The closing evening in Piazza Loggia brought together the public and institutions for a show combining music, entertainment, and storytelling, hosted by Mattia Stanga and Maddalena Damini.

The stage featured several renowned artists and guests, including Gianluca Fubelli (Scintilla), Paolo Migone, Vincenzo Regis, Saturnino, Andrea Casta, Deborah Iurato, Manuel Ciancarelli, Daniel Posniak, the dance school DaFamily Dance & Arts, and the young talents of the association Obiettivo Sorriso — all contributing to a night dedicated to generosity and connection.

 

Gruppo WISE’s Role
Gruppo WISE oversaw the branding and integrated communication strategy, the creative production, press office management, and the organization of all events within the Brescia for Charity calendar.

A strong and symbolic visual identity was developed, supported by a vibrant color palette and a consistent visual language across all channels.
The multichannel communication strategy integrated social media, website, media relations, and advertising campaigns, with the goal of amplifying awareness of the initiative and fostering active participation.

Brescia For Charity was conceived and promoted by Rotary Club Sud Ovest Maclodio to mark its 20th anniversary.

The Municipality of Brescia partnered with Rotary Club Sud Ovest Maclodio from the project’s inception—a key institutional collaboration that ensured shared engagement across citizens, businesses, and local enterprises.

To present this innovative model and hand it over to the community, Brescia For Charity was formally introduced at both the Chamber of Deputies in Rome and Palazzo Loggia in Brescia.
