Brescia Castle Virtual Tour

Gruppo WISE renews the image of the Castle of Brescia.

Discovering the Castle of Brescia with the Virtual Tour. From Gruppo WISE’s idea and promoted by the Rotary Club Brescia Sud Ovest Maclodio and the Brescia Museums Foundation, one of the first projects was created for “Brescia and Bergamo Italian Capital of Culture 2023”.  A project strongly desired by the two promoters and which led to the enhancement of the fortress perched on the Cidneo hill, which in 2020 became one of the most voted FAI “best loved sites”, earning 3rd place nationally.

For the Castello di Brescia Virtual Tour project, an integrated communication plan was structured which included Branding, Web Site, Emotional Video, Launch Event, Press Conference and the involvement of 17 Partners.

The project

The Castle of Brescia, which has always been a symbol of the city and inextricably linked to its history and image, has been the object of study by Gruppo WISE which has created a new young and dynamic image, with the creation of new eye-catching graphics and of a unique and coherent brand image among the various elements that distinguish it.

Branding

Liveliness and dynamism are two of the keywords that distinguish the Brand Identity of Brescia Castle. The logo was created by stylising some of the most representative elements of the medieval castle. These were then recomposed to evoke the user’s journey through the Virtual Tour. The logo was then used with its distinctive colours and features in all the communication media chosen for the “Castello di Brescia Virtual Tour”.

Versatility – Freshness – Avant-garde

The illustrations

In compliance with the colour palette and defined style, simple illustrations of the castle’s points of interest were created that could tell visitors about the most important stops during a visit.

The map

The new image also required a new map, which respected the guidelines drawn for logos and icons and highlighted all the points of interest in the Castle.
